Controlling your personal information:
Salisbury Motorcycle and Light Car Club Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “The Club”) is affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union of Great Britain (ACU) and when a
club member joins or renews their membership via the ACU
website, they automatically become an Affiliated Member of the ACU and their data is stored
on the ACU system using the SPORT:80 business management platform. Here is a link to SPORT:80’s Privacy Policy.
The Club has access to some of the personal information held on the ACU system to inform members of Club activities through newsletters, emails and general communications media.
Non-members have access to the Club's website to gain information about club activities and details on joining the Club.
The ACU will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Any infringements of The Data Protection Act 2018 will be reported by The Club, to the ACU within 72 hours.
This policy is effective from November 2023.
