Syllabus for 2026 - 2027

Venue: the Newton Bar Lounge at 19:00 hrs. (1-2 Glasgow St, Millport, Isle of Cumbrae, KA28 0DJ. Tel: 01475 530920). Non-members can join at any of the monthly meetings: annual membership £10.

Thursday 22nd October 2026: Registration Night / Taste of Harvest (if possible, bring some of your own produce) - Flower Show trophies ready for collection.

Thursday 19th November 2026: A talk given by Calum Clunie of the Beechgrove Garden. £5 entry for members and £10 entry for non-members.

Thursday 17th December 2026: Christmas Party "Grub, Gab & Games". Buffet + a glass of wine (or soft drink) for £10*. Secret Santa (optional): bring a gift valued above £10.

Thursday 21st January 2027: A Taste of Burns - haggis, neeps and tatties (& more) for £10* to celebrate Scotland's Bard!

Thursday 18th February 2027: Millport Gardeners Present... Short talks by local gardeners on a variety of topics.

Thursday 18th March 2027**: A talk given by Denise Harvey, herbalist, Saltcoats + Spring Plant or Bulb Competition.

Thursday 15th April 2027**: "Top Tips from the Judge" - presented by Kenny Milne, Largs.

Thursday 20th May 2027: AGM + Exchange of Seedlings.
